Shoes for thought

Call it a new found goal in my mind. shoe design can be compared to drawing a car but in fact its a lot harder than just that. It will take a while till I fully understand it but Ill give it my best shot.

Another day another design

Week 1 at ArtCenter is always demanding. 40 pages of sketches makes for a good warm up to a new term.











Old stuff

These 3 pieces were all done in PCC, The First is a Sinatra painting 12X16, done in Oils and Glaze. I called Foggy London Town Based on one of Sinatras well known songs, The last two were done in Stan Kongs rendering class, They were my attempt at Still Lifes, The First was of random tjhings on my desk, The Last was of objects that I felt could best represent me. They were both done on Illustration Board with marker and prisma pencil.

Color and story: Princess Mononoke

Final board and work for Color and story class with instructor Richard Keyes.
The Concept behind the project was to come up with story book look to Miyasaki film and translated it into a tale set in the isalnds of New Zealand. the characters are based on the Maori tribe who are the indigenous people to the islands, and used Alphonse Mucha as inspiration
